Sweet Reply

So someone asked me a few questions about planning a wedding on a budget here are their questions and my reply's!

Q. I am trying to come up with a creative guest book idea. The idea I was thinking was making the guest book more like a scrapbook (almost like a year book). Each page would have a love quote at the top and a picture of us in the middle. And in the back we would out our first home, our baby, etc.... What do you think?

A. Guest book: That is a very cute idea but here are my reservations...how many people are coming to the wedding? You need to make sure your album is conducive to the amount of guest. Also I think you should just keep it a wedding book and not a life book. You will want to look back an reflect on your wedding and not always have to think about it as a work in progress.

Q. Then the idea I had for centerpieces were to have picture frames. I was going to find spray paint to change the color of the frames to the wedding colors (dusty rose, silver/platinum, grey, and a soft fuchsia).

A. Centerpieces: What will be in the frames? Table numbers, a picture of you two, quotes? Also how many per table...just one? If this is the case remember someone will get a back view of the frame which is not what you want. I think if you are on a budget candles are a great alternative. I will attach a link of some that match your theme. I f you went with this then you could spread silver glass beads on the table. Are you a member of Michaels.com if not join now!
